Quaker Tapestry Museum is an award-winning attraction that is world famous and it features an inspirational exhibition of embroidered panels which tell various stories covering revolutionary ideas, railways and the remarkable people of the local area. The exhibits contain three hundred and fifty years of history. The tapestries have all been hand crafted by four thousand people from around the world. This attraction has interactive displays and films to watch.

The Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry will be an interesting day out for people of all ages. A visit to this attraction will enable you to experience what Victorian farm houses were like from the food that would have been in the kitchen to the elegance of the parlour. The galleries at this attraction tell the story of the arts and crafts history in the area.
