Niesmann + Bischoff and Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld: 15 Years of Partnership

In 2009, Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld became the first and only UK motorhome dealership to offer Niesmann+Bischoff vehicles. Fifteen years later, as we celebrate the launch of the new Arto, we look back on our enduring partnership and Niesmann+Bischoff’s impressive industry journey.

The history of Niesmann+Bischoff

Niesmann+Bischoff’s mission began back in 1955. Camping and caravanning became a huge passion in Germany, and so Niesmann laid the foundation of its successful caravanning business. Fast forward to 1981 and they launched their first Clou model – the alcove model 570 E – shortly followed by a full comfort liner division that included the firs iteration of the award-winning Flair.

Joining forces with Erwin Hymer Group in 1996, the company’s success continued to grow. Two years later, the original Arto series was brought to life, soon to become an symbol of the company’s technical innovation and iconic style. Since then, Niesmann have committed to refining their high quality standard and pushing industry boundaries. With the introduction of the iSmove and continual evolution of  the Arto and Flair, Neismann has firmly earned its global reputation as an industry-leading pioneer of luxury motorhomes.

We take great pride in our close collaboration with Niesmann+Bischoff over the past fifteen years and are delighted to be part of their remarkable journey. Cecile Klarner, responsible for all export sales at Niesmann, shares her thoughts:

“Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld is a key partner for Niesmann+Bischoff.”

“Many changes have occurred since we started our collaboration 15 years ago with Bob and Ross: the impressive investment in a purpose built ‘state of the art’ dealership in Stafford for Travelworld and the revolutionary launch of the groundbreaking iSmove and Flair models followed by the recent launch of our Arto range on Mercedes, which will be unveiled for the first time in the UK from 27th to 30th September in Stafford.

“Thanks to Travelworld’s vast experience and unparalleled product knowledge we are very pleased that our customers can enjoy  professional and expert attention while discovering our industry leading motorhomes. We are very grateful for their unwavering commitment and extremely proud to have or brand represented by the only privately owned Erwin Hymer Centre in Europe.”

Niesmann launches The New Arto

Niesmann + Bischoff have revealed a brand new Arto: the first liner motorhome on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis.

The new vehicle is the product of Niesmann + Bischoff’s mission to “combine their latest liner with the innovative drive technology of Mercedes Benz.” It comes in two models: the more compact Arto 78, and the larger tandem-axle Arto 88, maintaining the brand’s trusted high-quality standard, plus some exciting new features, including their brand new control system app.

The brand new Arto is available to order now, and will make its first UK appearance at Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld in September. Join us from 27th September to 30th September and take a look at this stunning new model. Since it won’t be shown at the NEC this year, take advantage of our relaxed setting to explore the new Arto at your own pace, with our expert team on hand to help.
