Erwin Hymer Centre Celebrates Dethleffs Award Win

Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld is celebrating after leading motorhome brand, Dethleffs, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, picked up the award for Best Motorhome Manufacturer for New Motorhomes at the annual Camping and Caravanning Club Satisfaction Awards last week.

As the largest exclusive HYMER dealer in the UK, the company’s managing director, Ross Edwards was delighted with the news. He said: “Dethleffs is a hugely popular motorhome brand with our customers. With its 80-year history, solid reliability and a reputation that lives up to its strapline, ‘friend of the family’ it’s clear to see why motorhomers voted for it.

Last year, the Midlands-based motorhome business held a National Dethleffs motorhome event featuring UK national mountain bike champion, Scott Beaumont, nick named ‘Boom Boom’ who went along with his own Dethleffs 7877-2 model, as well as his race bikes. He describes his Dethleffs motorhome as a house on wheels and classifies it as the ‘most superior brand’ and ‘crème de la crème of motorhoming’.

Nick Barker, sales manager at EHC Travelworld, said it’s an exciting time for Dethleffs, particularly with the new Dethleffs 2020 model launches on the horizon.

“It’s a fantastic achievement for Dethleffs but the excitement doesn’t stop there for the brand. There’s some great new additions to the 2020 models, including the new entry-level Trend Edition, a new rear design for the Trend 7877-2 and two new low-profile models for the Pulse.”
