Travelworld launches ‘groundbreaking’ family adventure iSlide motorhome

Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld has announced a bold leap into manufacturing with the launch of its first ever in-house model – the Travelworld iSlide 401. A true game-changer in leisure vehicle design, it’s a motorhome that dares to ask: what if your touring experience included a giant external slide?

Struggling to keep the kids entertained on the road? Consider your problem solved. The iSlide 401 puts fun firmly in the driving seat, combining the thrill of adventure with state-of-the-art family functionality.

The headline feature? A fully integrated, weather-resistant external play slide, expertly engineered to deliver hours of joy wherever you pitch up. Mounted to the nearside rear quarter and accessible via a full-height rooftop ladder, the slide is constructed from precision-moulded, UV-stabilised thermoplastic – guaranteeing year-round durability, even in the most demanding of climates.

Available in a striking palette of Cherry Red, Cobalt Blue, or Sunshine Yellow, the iSlide’s aerodynamic play system has been wind-tunnel tested for optimal slide performance. Suitable for ages 3+, it comes with a suite of optional extras – including the Comf-E Crash Mat, finished in a machine-washable, anti-blood-stain fabric for added peace of mind during high-impact landings.

Nick Barker, Sales Director at Travelworld, commented:

“We’re incredibly proud to unveil the Travelworld iSlide 401 – a truly disruptive force in motorhome innovation. For decades, this industry has been dominated by conversations around comfort, layout, and practicality. But we asked ourselves… what about fun? Why shouldn’t your motorhome come with its own slide?”

“Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re already looking ahead to future family-first models – including the iJump, featuring a fully integrated soft-top trampoline roof, and the iSwing, with an extendable rear swing-seat platform for alfresco lounging.”

The iSlide 401 will be available to “order” from 1st April 2025. Just don’t forget to check your calendar.
